Just back from a day-hiking trip in North Cascades NP.
Yesterday afternoon (9/10) I saw a single light-morph
immature BROAD-WINGED among several raptors (mostly
SHARP-SHINNED) flying low in deteriorating weather west
to east crossing Sahale Arm above Cascade Pass at about
7000 ft.

Also of interest a flock of 15-20 ROSY FINCHES flying around
a few hundred feet below Sahale glacier, but never saw any
on the ground. Plus flocks of 50-100 PIPITS in a couple places
above timberline moving through or staging.

And on 9/9 a loose flock of ~600 ROBINS moving south
along the ridge at Maple Pass above Rainy Pass.
