12:38pm end

Tweeters,
A blustery, Fall-like day at Turning Basin #3 (TB3). Cohos were jumping everywhere, and a couple of hunting OSPREYS made dives, but to no avail. The GREEN HERONS were still here, one hunting in the stormwater stream behind the TB3 restoration area, and one under the Boeing bridge.

More numbers of different gulls seen today: two RING-BILLED and nine MEW.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (3)
Gadwall (2)
Mallard (9)
Common Merganser (2)
Great Blue Heron
Green Heron (2)
Osprey (3; one at the south and east end of TB3; the others more associated with Hamm Creek)
Mew Gull (9)
Ring-billed Gull (2)
Glaucous-winged Gull (6)
Rock Pigeon (15)
Belted Kingfisher
American Crow (5)
European Starling (50)
American Goldfinch (2)

May all your birds be identified,

Denis DeSilvis
