Hi Birders,
I just got off of the phone with Wayne Weber. He had been in the Grant
County area looking for the STFL. He and several birders were unable to find
the flycatcher today. Hopefully it will show up again very soon.
Wayne did report that the Sabine's Gull is still present at the north end
of Soap Lake.
He also reported that there are several shorebirds at Lind Coulee including
a STILT SANDPIPER. Other shorebirds included a single Pectoral Sandpiper, 15
each Least and Western sandpipers, several dozen Long-billed Dowitchers, 4
Lesser Yellowlegs, and 2 Greater Yellowlegs.
Wayne also reported a Peregrine Falcon perched on a power pole near
Othello.
Cheers
