Hello this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Wednesday September 15. If you have anything to add call Harry

On September 9 a female SUMMER TANAGER was at Fields.

Reports indicate that CLARK?S NUTCRACKERS are now moving into lower
elevations. BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPERS are still being seen on the North Spit
of Coos Bay. An ARCTIC TERN was at the South Jetty of the Columbia River
September 10.

On September 13 an adult JAEGER was along the Columbia River near the
Portland Airport. An early ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was at the north pond along
Jacobson Road near Hillsboro September 14. Another was in Linn County
September 10. On September 14 a PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER with one leg was at
the Fernhill Wetlands in Forest Grove. A COMMON TERN and a SABINE?S GULL
have been at Dexter Reservoir southeast of Eugene during the week. On
September 9 three COMMON TERNS were at the Walterville Sewage Ponds and
another three were at Fern Ridge Reservoir. A SWAINSON?S HAWK was at Fern
Ridge September 13, and a PARASITIC JAEGER was there the next day. The Fern
Ridge RUFF is still being seen.

On September 11 a GREEN HERON was at the Deschutes River Mouth, and another
was at Malheur NWR during the week. A SABINE?S GULL and 40 COMMON TERNS are
now at McNary Dam. A LEAST FLYCATCHER was at the Redmond Sewage Ponds
September 11. On September 12 a SABINE?S GULL was at the Prineville Sewage
Ponds. An early ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK and a MEW GULL were near Klamath Falls
September 9.
