Greetings all,

Tried to see the Soap lake Sabine's Gull and the Moses Lake Scissor tail on the way home from work today. No luck. I was in a bit of a hurry, so only spent a total of about 90 minutes of birdwatching. And I have good binoculars, but no scope, so others might do better.

The only highlight was watching a beautiful Peregrine Falcon take a pass at a small group of Phalaropes. It then circled up to high altitude and headed to the north end of the lake.

Hope the rest of you have better luck,
Ron McCluskey
