Tweets,
I watched the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher from about 5:50 to 6:10 pm this afternoon (Sept 15th). It was on the barbed-wire fencing around whatever the stuff is on the right side of Randolph Rd just as you turn off Tyndall Rd. I drove less than 100 yards on Randolph Rd before I saw the bird. It flew down in the weeds 3 times to catch what appeared to be grasshoppers, moving closer to Tyndall Rd. A Black-billed Magpie flew in its direction (it did not appear to really be chasing it), and the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher then flew north along Tyndall, in and out of the brush/weeds along the roadside. I lost sight of it as a number of cars went by, and did not relocate, although I drove north on Tyndall.
