Tweets,

Sept 15 marked the 20th evening (at least) the Vaux's Swifts have been present at the roosting chimney in Tenino.

Wed Sept 15
50-70 Vaux's Swifts -- 1 observer -- 8:00 to 8:03 pm
3 individuals 2 minutes behind the pack
1 individual 2-1/2 minutes behind
1 individual 3 minutes behind

Location: 125 Sussex E.: Joe's Car & Truck Sales/Brazil Stove sales, corner of Hodgden & Sussex (= the "main drag" = Old Hwy 99/SR 507), across the street from City Hall & Fire Dept., kitty korner to the post office (a good place to park). A good vantage point that provides a light background (you lose them against a dark background) is sitting on the street curb of the City Hall lawn, directly across the street from the chimney.

Good birding!
