Snowy plovers are banded at various locations in Oregon and California, and
a number of plovers banded as chicks in Oregon nest at Midway and Leadbetter
Point. However, it is quite rare, to my knowledge, to have a banded bird
at Damon Pt. I can forward your information to the appropriate biologists
with WDFW and Fish and Wildlife Service.
