I put in most of an hour this morning at the east meadow and the adjacent
part of the dog area.

I found one of the Longspurs that Michael Hobbs reported, and suspect I saw
others flying around, but could only confirm the one; I had a great view of
it on the ground ten yards away for about seven or eight minutes. I also
got a nice look at the drab Horned Lark as well.

I did not find the Say's Phoebe that Michael turned up yesterday, but there
was a singing Western Meadowlark in the meadow, and a MacGillivray's Warbler
in the thicket at the extreme northeast corner of the dog area.
