Spent 4 hours birding the Yakama Indian Reservation from Granger to
the Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge and along Marion Dr. Rd. to
Lateral "C" RD. The large flocks of BARN SWALLOWS and TREE SWALLOWS
looked like they were staging for their trip south and there was a
good variety of sparrows around.

Also was impressed with the large flock of GOLD-CROWNED WARBLERS
present at the TNWR headquarters. The pond in front of the
observation deck at the TNWR is filling and starting to hold quite a
few waterfowl.
