Hello Tweets,
This afternoon I saw a sparrow that surely looked like an adult non
breeding chipping sparrow. It went through my feeder area, but did not
actually stop at the feeder. It stayed in a bush for long enough to get
a good look with binos.
Very clear breast, smallish white under yellow beak, and a long dark eye
line and brownish crown with stripe.
I've seen chipping sparrows before, but not on the west side, so I don't
know if it is an unusual or unlikely bird.
