We made our second trip over there last night (Saturday; 9/18) and
found the bird at 6:30 PM on the lines along Randolph next to the
turbine generators. From previous posts this appears to be a
dependable location just before sunset.

We were able to shoot some video from the car, but felt we were
harassing the bird in its evening meal so didn't stay long.

Perhaps everyone who wants to see the bird has already tried, but a
word on directions for person coming in on WA Hwy 17 from the north
(Ephrata and Soap Lake): Randolph intersects with Hwy 17 at Big Bend
Community College. From there it sweeps east around the college and
then north behind the airport to its intersection with Tyndall.
