Sunday Bird Walk: Nanoose Bay, September 19,04
Observers: Twelve Sunday birders
Highlights: Two Greater Yellowlegs dropped in on the tide line, landing
not ten feet from us for close looks, as they talked and pumped their tails.
A Peregrine Falcon in full chase appeared from above the eastern trees.
It passed over us and swooped down over the church camp and turned and
headed straight up and away to the west. A very exliterating show
