Hello Mike,

The Orchard Oriole had a monocolored greenish yellow
tail tall the way to the tip rather than a black tail
as in W. Tan, a slender "blackbird" type bill , and
unlike a W. Tan, it had gray wings without the black
primaries. You won't get that yellow rumped look that
a W. Tan has when it flies away from you.

were to chase it, can you give me details that I could

use to distinguish it from a Western Tanager female or
or immature?
