A Rufous Hummingbird visited my yard today (along Scatter Ck., east of Tenino), the first one I have seen in exactly a week, and that one I had to hand capture to release it from the garage. I am just curious if others in the state or northern Oregon are still seeing Rufous Hummers, or how late this year your sightings have continued. My latest yard sighting in 2003 was Sept. 18.
