In the evening on Friday, Sept. 24, 2004 we had a juvenile RUFOUS
HUMMINGBIRD visiting a patch of salvia at our home in Western Skamania
County, elevation 1,180'. This is the latest sighting by eight days of
this species we have had here in the twenty five years we have been here.
