Hello Tweets and other birders,

My mother and I have placed photos of both the Black-tailed Gull at North Cove and the Bar-tailed Godwit at the Tokeland Marina taken this afternoon onto our website, which can be accessed at http://www.pbase.com/godwit/root/ , then selecting the proper gallery. The Bar-tailed Godwit is presumably a female due to the bill length compared to other nearby Marbled Godwits, which can be viewed in our photographs. In addition to today's sightings we also observed a Northern"Yellow-shafted"Flicker near the Tokeland Marina, which we failed to mention in our most recent posting and may be the same individual Charlie Wright reported on the 23rd of September. Also of note at Tokeland were 8 Greater Yellowlegs and a single Lincoln's Sparrow.

Sincerely,

Ruth and Patrick Sullivan
