Hi Tweeters:
Many thanks to the Seattle Audubon group that helped us folks from
Rainier Audubon find the Bar-tailed Godwit at Tokeland. They had
located the bird before we arrived. As usual, it was hard to find
this species as it stood in the center of a large (500+) flock of
Marbled Godwits on a narrow dock. There were also several Willets on
the dock. After we were shown the juvenile bird, we saw the pale
supercilium and white belly. We got to view this bird about 2pm on
Sat, Sept 25.
Yours, Carol Schulz
