FYI. Gary Wiles and others might be interested in Mount St. Helens' latest
"swarm" of small seismic events that have closed it to climbing and also closed
public entry to Spirit Lake basin. Immediate concern appears to be for
possible landslides, mudflows and steam explosions, with no major events
anticipated. Some interesting links follow. The press release for the 27th
mentions PUMICE PLAIN, where Gary was birding over the weekend.
