A SURFBIRD and 25 BLACK TURNSTONES were seen at Departure Bay in Nanaimo.

Monday September 27:
ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS are coming to feeders to the 3900 block of Hammond Bay Road in Nanaimo.

Sunday September 26:
The Sunday bird walk went to Englishman River Estuary, Shelly Road Side. Twenty-two Sunday birders found the following 67 Species:

A SWAINSONS THRUSH and five BROWN CREEPERS were seen at Buttertubs Marsh in Nanaimo.
Two grey and white coloured NORTHWEST CROWS were seen along Peacock Street and Stanford Avenue in Parksville.
A WESTERN MEADOWLARK was seen at Nanoose Bay.

Thursday September 23:
Eleven SANDERLINGS were seen at Columbia Beach near French Creek.

Tuesday September 21:
47 LONG-BILLED DOWICHERS, two PECTORAL SANDPIPERS and four LINCOLN SPARROWS were seen at the Nanaimo River Estuary in south Nanaimo.
