30 Sandhill Cranes seen in King County, Washington on September 30, 2004

Today I saw at least 30 Sandhill Cranes flying over Hunts point, WA
heading south, I was about to go into a residence to do a job there
and heard their mechanical calls from way above, I dived back to my
truck to get my bins and sure was, I shouted out to the house keeper
of the residence, she must have thought I was nuts!!

They were a fair way up in the sky but a first for me to see them
this side of the mountains. Maybe others would like to know?
