I conducted the monthly census at the Steigerwald Lake N.W.R.
which is adjaecent to Washougal, in Clark County on September 30, 2004.
The number of birds was low with only a few obvious migrants. The only
noteable bird was one late HOUSE WREN at the barns along the Washougal
Dike.
