Friday, April 1, 2:05 pm; this is Rachel Lawson, BirdBox Administrator
reporting from yesterday on Tweeters that Cameron Cox relocated the elusive Kent
Valley BAILAL TEAL. He found it several miles south of the previous location at
the Kent Ponds near the intersection of West Valley Hwy and 277th. The bird
was 1/2 mile east (or it could be west?) on 277th next to the Smith Bros. Farm
in a flooded field on the Northside of the rd. There?s a small bridge which
goes over the creek and he saw the birds from the shoulder on the eastside of
the bridge. This is a very busy highway so use caution! The Baikal Teal was
with some Green-wing Teal. Also, today another Tweeter searched for the bird
but could not relocate it. Thats it, good birding.
