I am a PhD candidate at the UW studying the effects of urban landscape
patterns on songbird dispersal in the greater Seattle metropolitan
area. Much of this effort depends on the resighting of color-banded
birds, which is why I'm asking for your help. Please watch your
feeders and any birds you see while birding out in local forests, and
if you happen to see a color-banded songbird, get the best read you
can on the colors and positions of the bands. For more details on
