Steve & Gail Aslanian found 2 good birds this weekend. On Saturday they found a Harris's Sparow at the Snow Goose Preserve on Fir Island. It was going in and out of the Blackberries 25 yds east of the north end of the parking lot. The bird seems to be just going into adult plumage. It was quite easily seen on SAt. & Sunday.

On Sunday the Aslanians found a pair of Western Bluebirds on Hwy 9 about 1 mile south of Camp Brotherhood. A few miles south of Lk. Mc Murray. They were on the west side of the rd. feeding from tops of the tall posts in the open field. This area seems to be at the very northern edge of Snohomish Co.
