I went out to Corfu this morning to count the Sandhill cranes at 0830 hrs and they were already there and close to Rd C SE. If you plan on going to see them this weekend, in the morning, get there by atleast 0700 hrs. I will do a survey tonight and will post it later.

Unfortunately my driving in pushed allot of white-cheeked geese ( I love that term!) away but still estimated 80,000 in the field. I estimated 18,000 cranes.
