Here some assorted goodies from today's trip that Mike Fleming and I took to the Ellensburg/Vantage/Othello area:

-Sage Thrasher (3 off Umptanum Rd. about 2.3mi past Duerr Rd, 1 at MP18 and 3 at MP20 Old Vantage Hwy)
-Brewer's Sparrow (2 off Umptanum Rd. about 2.3mi past Duerr Rd, 2 at MP20 Old Vantage Hwy)
-Sage Sparrow (2 at MP20 Old Vantage Hwy)
-White-headed Woodpecker (1 female at Ellensburg Pass)
-Mountain Bluebird (many off Umptanum Rd., 2 at Elk Heights, 2 at MP20 Old Vantage Hwy)
-Burrowing Owl (1 at Cunningham & Steel east of Othello)
-Cinnamon Teal (5 at ponds at Frenchman Hills & Dodson)
-American Avocet (7 at Countyline Ponds off SR26)
-Black-necked Stilt (12 at Countyline Ponds off SR26; ~10 at ponds at Frenchman Hills & Dodson)
-Great Egret (3 at Para Ponds, Othello)
-Tricolored Blackbird (8 at feedlot just west off Para Ponds, several calling - note that I had ~100 two weeks ago)
-Yellow-headed Blackbird (18 at feedlot just west off Para Ponds, several calling - note that I had ~250 two weeks ago)
-Long-billed Curlew (1 displaying, off I-90, George exit)

We missed Clark's Grebe at the Potholes and at Moses Lake. It may be still a bit early for them.
