Sorry, that person was answering my earlier off-topic migration question about the Painted Lady butterflies that have been migrating by truly the billions. As recently as a week ago, I was seeing hundreds per minute down here outside Modesto, CA. I live in Seattle, but am working this summer in the San Joaquin Valley and was curious how far north this once-in-a-lifetime migration had made it. Got one response about one being seen in Vancouver, BC, over 1000 miles north of where I am, and probably a 1600-2000 mile flight for that butterfly. Amazing to imagine...

Again, sorry for any confusuion my request and the subsequent answers may have caused.
