The Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Spokane Co WA GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE has
returned for the third straight year. Ron Dexter reports seeing the bird
again on 7 Apr. The bird is frequenting the Meadowwood Golf Course near the
intersection of Valleyway and Molter. It has been seen as far east as a half
mile from the intersection. WA DeLorme 88, C-8.

Lisa Hardy reports a pair of TRUMPETER SWANS are persisting at the sawmill
pond along Dredge Road near Cataldo, Kootenai Co ID. She way the birds on 8
Apr.

On 6 Apr Gina Sheridan reports 6 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE and 2 EURASIAN
WIGEONS at Philleo Lake west of Spangle, Spokane Co WA. Head west from US
195 on Jennings Road about 2 miles and bear left onto Philleo Lake Road. WA
DeLorme 73, A-5.

Tom Besser has heard about a possible GREAT GRAY OWL in Whitman Co WA. The
bird has apparently been seen along the road bordering Rose Creek Preserve
about 12 miles northwest of Pullman. It's being reported in late afternoon
(6ish). From Pullman, head north on WA 27 and turn left on the
Albion-Pullman Road. In Albion, turn right on Main Street, which becomes Old
Albion Road (gravel). Proceed 2.8 miles and turn left on Shawnee Road
(formerly known as Four Mile Road). Continue bearing left for half a mile to
the preserve, which is on the right.
