Hi all,
This morning on my walk along East Bay out to Swan Town Marina I saw three pair of Purple Martins checking out the nest boxes at the south end of East Bay. Also one male Tree Swallow was preening while sitting on one of the boxes. Not sure if he's claimed that one as his or if it was just a good spot to enjoy this mornings sunshine. I'll keep an eye on it.
Also Orange-crowned Warblers singing and one showed itself briefly. There seem to be a number of them near the pond at the south end of Boat Works.
I also saw two Common Loons on East Bay this morning. One in the cove between Boat Works and the Marina and the other just off the far dock at Swan Town.
Happy Birding,
