Yesterday the Bothell "Gun Club" ospreys were much in evidence. They've
been on a cell tower for four years now and while they came back (my first
sighting) a couple weeks ago, yesterday one was on the top post of the
tower while the other was flying back from Lake Washington (I assume) with
something dangling. I didn't stop. Down the hill from the tower four
redtails were flying almost in tandem - similar to the Gyps vultures at
times. They stayed together, which I thought a little odd for this time of
year, neither rising on a kettle or displaying any aggressive interaction.
Nice day for raptors in the neighborhood!
