Had a chance to bird Soos Creek Park in Kent between 240th and 224th today.
Identified 25 species, and didn't identify... I don't know, like a hundred
(first year of birding, and there were a LOT of sounds I didn't recognize).
Saw my first Cinnamon Teals - closer to 224th in a slow moving part of the
creek. Amazed by the songs and sounds - so many times, I'd hunt something
down to find out that Towhees make that noise too :). I'm also seeing more
hummingbirds, but, honestly, they move so fast I can't ID them. One held in
a spot for a couple seconds, but all I got was a green back, which could be
Anna's or Rufous, right?

Beautiful day!
