I was out working in the Wenas area West of Yakima today and new migrants are finally starting to show up. Highlight was the first GRAY FLYCATCHER of the year calling in this dry site ponderosa pine zone. Also firsts of the year were CHIPPING SPARROW, CASSIN'S FINCH, and HOUSE WREN. Other birds seen between Naches and Wenas Boise Campground were:
