This evening at 7:45 I saw the first two Purple Martins perched on rebar on
the single piling on the Edmonds waterfront. We had four gourds last year,
all with successful nests. Some time in the fall we lost two gourds. Kevin
Li has recently mounted more so we have the possibility of a small colony in
eight gourds this year.
