The following birds were seen by Wayne Weber from 10:30 AM to 2:10 PM
on April 22, 2005 at Point Roberts, Whatcom County, WA.

The weather was exceptionally warm for April. Winds were nearly calm
on the east side of the point, but W up to 15 km/hr on the west
side.

Areas birded included Benson Road near the firehall, Lily Point, the
marina, the "marina slough trail" west of Tyee Drive, and Lighthouse
Marine Park.

Noteworthy birds included a BLACK OYSTERCATCHER on the beach east of
the marina and later at Lighthouse Marine Park (LMP), 61 BLACK
TURNSTONES on the breakwater at the marina entrance, 2 RHINOCEROS
AUKLETS and 2 MARBLED MURRELETS off LMP, a HUTTON'S VIREO at Lily
Point, and 2 VIRGINIA RAILS calling along the slough trail.

One DOUGLAS SQUIRREL was seen near the firehall, and one HARBOR SEAL
in the ocean off LMP.
