Hi Tweets,

Today Fred Parent, my wife and I birded Discovery Park, Brady Loop Rd,
and Nisqually NWR. Mainly we were looking for the Am. Golden Plover,
Black-necked Stilt and Vesper Sparrow reported at these three
locations. While we didn't see any of our target birds we did see
several new birds for the year. At Discovery Park we saw a small
number of CHIPPING SPARROWS.

Arriving around 3:00pm at Brady Loop Road we ran into Tim O'Brien.
Together we birded the loop but didn't see any Black Bellied Plovers
let alone the Am Golden Plover, but we did manage to see a couple of
SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, Least and Western Sandpipers along with
Short-billed Dowitcher. In the mixed rain at Nisqually we saw several
Cinnamon Teal and an American Bittern but not luck seeing the Blue
Winged Teal. All said we ended up with 76 species for the day.
