Subject: [Tweeters] Possible Red-Shouldered Hawk at Everett Sewage Ponds

Saturday afternoon while driving the I-5 in both directions at the Everett
Sewage Ponds, I saw (at 60 mph) what I think was a Red-Shouldered Hawk
perched in a dead fir tree in a small stand of dead firs, right off the
highway on the east side, just north of Exit 194. The bird was much more
slender in build than the usual Red-tails, and had a definite reddish
breast from beak to leg, with no belly band.
