This afternoon I got a call from Bob Woodley informing me of a Willet he'd
found on the Yakima River Delta.

Went down for a look. It was a nice breeding plumaged bird that permitted
easy, fairly close-range viewing.
All the ones we saw on the lower Texas coast 2 weeks ago were still in
winter plumage.

Thanks Bob, that brings my Benton County life list up to 257 !
