I had a female yellow warbler Saturday bathing in my back yard. I live near the Kirkland end of Lake Washington, with a protected wooded ravine funneling up to my house. I didn't see her yesterday, but I heard two different bird songs high in the trees that I couldn't locate, nor identify.
So many mowers and weedeaters were going that most of the birds stayed away from the yard until later afternoon.
