My friend Laura, who saw the egret at Marymoor, sent me a correction to say that the bird had been flying NORTH. So perhaps it is the same bird as was later found by Scott in Duvall.

On Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to at least 7:00 pm there was a great egret in Duvall.
The bird is found in a wetland that is just south of McCormick Park on the the Snoqualmie trail at the first foot bridge. It was in a snag on the east side of the trail. The bird also was foraging.
Also of note at this spot were a bittern and a sora rail.
