Tweeters, here is my long write up of the trip my brother and I took over
the weekend through today (4/26). We covered quite a bit of ground in the
state but missed a few target species (mostly due to the bad weather
cancelling the pelagic). Wilson Creek was a bust, but we saw many of the
goodies in that region. Rarest bird of the trip was a BLUE JAY seen while
driving south towards Wenatchee from Orondo. Thanks to all who suggested
good Williamson's Sapsucker locales, too bad we ended without any actual
sightings. Andy ended with a trip total of 194 species but only 7 lifers.
