At 10pm last night there was an odd noise out the kitchen window. To my
surprise, it was a pine siskin, perched on the screen of the window, picking
up bugs. It handily moved about on the screen, snatching up moths, lacewings
and other bugs too small for my eyes to see. It did this for about 5
minutes, left for about 5 minutes, then returned on another window. Clever
bird.
