Greetings all,

Tracey Norris and I did some birding this afternoon in Central Pierce County
in a few locations. At the marsh off of 174th west of Pacific Highway near
Spanaway, we had several migrant warblers including 2 Hermit Warblers.
Several Purple Martins were flying over the lake, and a Hammond's Flycatcher
was calling from an edge of a clearing.

Also seen today at a different Location, off Kapowsin Road east of Highway
161 at what is signed as the South Creek Wetland, a new Mitigation wetland,
we had:
2 Lesser Yellowlegs
1 Greater Yellowlegs
1 Solitary Sandpiper
6 Cinnamon Teal
2 Sora
2 Virginia Rail
6 Wilson's Snipe
40 Least Sandpipers.

A nice afternoon

Cheers and good birding
