This is a remarkable turn of events, even for a birder whose country
was never graced with the flight of the Ivory-bill. I for one hope
people will leave it alone. It is a dream come true, but underlying
that for me is the nightmare that this is the only one, the last one,
and we will yet witness the extinction of the species. I so profoundly
hope there are more where this one was found.
