Hello Tweets: Several days ago after hearing a thud against the glass door
leading to the back patio and fearing the worst, my fears turned to wonder
as a stunned MacGillivray's Warbler, eyes wide open,was standing within 2
feet of where I stood. Although I've seen (more often heard) many
MacGillivray's over the years, never did one stay so still for so long for
close-up viewing of every feather. What a treat! Morning fog was lifting
when he somehow found the patio; my property certainly is not conducive for
this skulking warbler - but I'm not complaining.
