Subject: [Tweeters] Red-necked Stunt, er...Stint

Yesterday I tried to photograph the stint. He is small, he stayed far away,
the light is hard to work with, and every other excuse I can think of. The
pictures are not good. But, thanks to those that posted and let us know he
was still around and to Ruth Sullivan who told me where to watch for him, I
got to see and watch and get some kind of picture of this rare visitor. I
have put a few on site linked below. The first piture was a practice shot
taken about two hours before anyone spotted him. I thought I was practising
on a least sandpiper and didn't discover otherwise until I was editing the
photos. Two other pics show his size relative to a juvenile Western
Sandpiper and a Killdeer.
