late June/early July.

White-crowned Sparrows and Song Sparrows have stopped singing.

Pelagic Cormorants have lost their white breeding patches.

Caspian Terns aren't around anymore.

Next thing you know, it'll be fall according to the calendar and the ducks
will be back!
