Subject: [Tweeters] FIRE in the Northern Blue Mountains

Hello All,
Just a note of caution to anyone planning on birding in the Blue Mountains
of Washington this coming week. It is not a good idea as there is a 27,000+
acre forest fire in the Tucannon River drainage in Columbia and Garfield
Counties. Many roads are closed and you will be stopped from entering the
area. At least the bulk of the nesting season is over and most wildlife can
escape this fast moving fire.
Thank-you Mike
