Hi Tweets,

On the way out to Commencement Bay, just a mile or two from the house, this morning I spied about 6 birds swirling in circles, thinking they were TV's I had DH turn the car around and stop to get a better view. We lost them behind some trees but found them again from another vantage point. It was 2 Bald eagles and 4 Ravens. The Ravens were tormenting the heck out of the larger birds, so the Eagles split up, each taking a pair of Ravens with them. The Ravens would dive and twirl, doing acrobats that the Blue Angels would have been proud of. And then out of the blue, one Raven took off to the east and the others followed.

Then just past Pt Defiance there was a Red-tailed hawk doing a great job keeping 6 crows off his butt. He would turn in the air and come pretty close to a nabbing one of them. The Red-tail was very agile.

So out on Dock street near the 11th street bridge we here a Ka ka ka ka noise, looking up we see a Peregrine Falcon trying to land on a non existent ledge on a brand new high rise with a Gull on his tail, the Falcon screamed again and just glanced off the window and took a sharp turn right around the building, coming out the other side and then diving towards the ground with no gull in sight.

A raptors life is not all glamour.

If you were arrested for being kind, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
