Sightings for Sunday, August 7
A GREAT EGRET was seen at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary and at Boundary
Bay, both in Delta. Also at Reifel was an immature BLACK-CROWNED
NIGHT-HERON.
Thursday, August 4
A LAZULI BUNTING was at Colony Farm in Coquitlam.
Wednesday, August 3
2 adult and 4 juvenile AMERICAN KESTRELS were seen at Sea Island,
Richmond.
Tuesday, August 2
A GREEN HERON was in a park at 104th Avenue and 141st Street in
Surrey.
Monday, August 1
The WILLET has returned to its old haunt at the base of the
Tsawwassen Jetty in Delta. The Reifel Bird Sanctuary had 3 WILSON'S
PHALAROPES and 2 female BULLOCK'S ORIOLES.
